Bathtime Twilight by Sarah Brayer (New York / Japan, 1957). A beautiful depiction of Yasaka Pagoda as seen from the street. The light of the twilight sun begins to glimmer on the remnants of the previous evenings mist, with a bathhouse sign still illuminated brightly, but no one yet in sight. From the series Kyoto Streets. Aquatint print in color. Dated 1984. Signed, titled and numbered in pencil by the artist. Limited edition numbered 17 of 100. Sister work to Dayglow (New York) also published in 1984.
