Full Moon at Akashi Beach by Tsuchiya Koitsu (Japan, 1870-1949). A tremendous exercise in perspective with a detailed view of a tree in the foreground framing boats and a mountain range in the background, with the full moon accentuating the scene. A very serene landscape which has been beautifully executed. Originally published Spring 1934 by Watanabe Printing Co. Watanabe 6mm J seal bottom left indicating a printing between 1946 and 1957.
