Poetry of Early Autumn by Gen Yamaguchi (Japan, 1903-1976). A fantastic Sosaku Hanga Japanese woodblock print composed of print applications using found objects. The combination of patterns, colors and layering is absolutely tremendous. One of my favorite works of the period. Limited edition numbered 48 of 50. Printed by the artist in 1948. Pencil signed by the artist. Illustrated: Yamaguchi, pl. 61.

Condition: Very good condition and color. Minor creasing and fading.
