Dance by Ishikawa Toraji (Japan, 1875-1964). Shin hanga color woodblock print with mica on paper. A powerful and engaging Japanese woodblock print depicting a burlesque dancer scarcely covered by a silver mesh shawl. From the series "Ten Types of Female Nudes (Rajo jusshu)". Published in 1935 by Ryoku-usō Gahitsu. Carved by Yamagishi Kazue. Second state. Signed and sealed bottom right.
