Osaka Castle by Hiroshi Yoshida Toku Seal (Japan, 1876-1950). A beautiful depiction of the historic Osaka Castle. The level of detail portrayed is astounding, especially when enjoying the reflection of the castle in the gently rippling water. A family in traditional dress can also be seen relaxing and enjoying the landscape near the pond. Colors are vibrant and energetic portraying the beautiful crisp day. Signed by the artist: Yoshida signed in ink in Japanese, and Hiroshi Yoshida in pencil bottom right. Published in 1935. The "Toku" seal is rarely seen and was a special seal which was used by Hiroshi Yoshida for his prints set aside for special reasons.
